I am also studying to become an actuary and have successfully passed my first exam and am currently studying for my second. I am a math enthusiast and love working with others to try to persuade them of the fun that comes along with solving problems. I firmly believe that everyone can understand math, it is just a matter of having the right teacher! I have been helping fellow classmates and friends with math since I can remember and have officially started working as a tutor last year. I have tutored in areas ranging from 6th grade math up to calculus and statistics. Having worked with students in various levels has helped me develop a very successful teaching approach. This approach is simple, not everyone learns with the same methods. Each person's brain works differently which results in different learning styles. With all of my past experience I have been able to identify the type of learning style a student needs which in return provides better results.
