Experience
I went to college at Rutgers, earning a bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Biology. I then went on to attend the university in New Jersey City, where I earned my master's degree in special education. I also received another master's degree in educational administration and supervision through the University of Phoenix. I have spent the past 12 years teaching students with special needs. I hold four teaching certifications in the state of New Jersey in Elementary K-5, Science at the middle school level, teaching handicapped children, and acting as supervisor in a school setting. Although I once earned a degree in Psychology, my tutoring focus is on Math and Science-related classes. I offer help with Biology, Algebra, Anatomy, Elementary Math, Environmental Science, Middle School Math, Earth Science, General Biology, and basic Science at the elementary and middle school grade levels. I also know Spanish, and can tutor students learning this language. English, Reading, Writing, Phonics, and Handwriting are other subjects I know well. I can even tutor students in Art, as scrap-booking, crafts, drawing, and other art projects are all interests of mine.
